It read:

It was so great seeing him tonite! Although, he did look tired. Worn out--physically and emotionally...
I'm so happy to spend another birthday with him! Have I told you that I really like that man?

Haha! I love it! Your dad is awesome! You are awesome! I think it's good to feel a little "something" about turning 40. I know I did. And once you work your head around it, I do promise you (again and again) that's it's FAB! You will rock it!
